GOLFEN IN STADSCENTRUM OOSTENDE!
Op de ruim 125 jaar oude hippodroom van Oostende is sinds 2 juni 2004 een golfclub actief. Deze unieke groene long in het stadscentrum is sindsdien het ganse jaar door toegankelijk voor het publiek. Op 14 september 2007 werd de 9 holes championship course officieel geopend.
Met haar grote driving range (25 overdekte afslagplaatsen) en de 2 grote oefengreens heeft WGO bovendien een erg aantrekkelijke oefeninfrastructuur.
Het terrein werd getekend door golfarchitect baron Paul Rolin. Het biedt veel variatie, grote greens met interessante hellingen, en veel waterhindernissen…
